Hypnosurgery (催眠麻醉)

以下是兩段有關利用催眠麻醉，進行脫牙、植牙及疝氣手術的影片。從影片可見，催眠能令當事人身心放鬆，達到與注射麻醉藥的效果相若，但同時可免卻麻醉藥所帶來的輕微副作用。由於影片中其中一位催眠治療師是本人的老師，令我更清楚了解整個催眠過程及催眠術的醫學效果。據醫學研究指出，一般接受催眠麻醉手術的病人，在手術過程中，血壓、心跳會維持正常水平，出血量相對少，而且病人一般復完都比較快和只有輕微手術後的痛楚，所以在手術後亦不必使用止痛藥，這就是催眠麻醉的優點。
